12 weeks old today!
What a beautiful puppy you are, Windsor boy! Lovin' life and learning new ways and means every day. He is 20 lbs now and enjoying 1 on 1 time with Mama RyLeigh. Sleeping without littermate Blaze last night, for the first time, went well. The only change in his behavior is that he is more snuggly and wants to chew on me like he did with his littermates. I do like his soft mouth.Going outside w/out hesitation to go potty, and scurries right back to his favorite heat register. He's gonna make someone a wonderful companion. hunterfive@juno.com

Top Dog 'Windsor'
Windsor #7 is truly top dog now! He is our final male pup that remains to be placed. He has littermate Blaze #9 to tumble, wrestle and snuggle with until she leaves (Can't help but think Windsor's Buyer is going to surface before they have to be seperated). The timing and choices of the litter buyers has been amazing! Such perfect fits for each pup so far and no doubt there is a perfect fit for Windsor too.
At 11 weeks and 18 lbs, Windsor is getting more control of his body, and getting some speed as he races in the field behind the house with littermate Blaze and Mama RyLeigh. He is a bit shy when encountering new things, ie briars, pond, tall grass, overhanging branches and big open spaces. He takes his time to investigate. He then approaches, the next time, with more confidence. Such a fun process to watch.
After a nice 20-30 minute walk in the cold, Windsor has found the heat register is the best seat in the house.

'Blazing' a trail to Grizzly Flats, CA
'Blaze' has a new family! She's going to Grizzly Flats, CA. Where she may join the deer and the antelope at play, perhaps. We will miss her. We may be seeing some puppies from her a few years down the road. Bye-Bye Blaze!

This is pretty much what they do all day when they aren't eating or sleeping. They love to wrestle, even with mama Rye. They get into some trouble sometimes because they are so curious.

Only Two Pups! Don't miss out!
Male Windsor #7 and Female Blaze #9 are 'king and queen' of the roost now. Wow it's kinda like with kids, you take away that third one and there seems to be so much more peace! Pups are learning 'Sit' and 'Paws off''. They love it here, and we love them too! It's getting harder to see them go. However... very happy for the folks that get them.Check out

10 weeks Stairmasters! & shots
Only 3 beautiful puppies left to find fabulous homes.
Female#6'Suites', Male#7 'Windsor' and Female#9'Blaze'
Suites #6 is over 14 lbs now and is my personal favorite. Her white tail held 'just so' has 'wag' whether she is wrestling with siblings or trying to take a bone away from a patient mama RyLeigh dog. Her beautiful dark head is much like her Mama too. Suites legs are darkening up while her torso is ticked and staying a bit brighter - for now she looks a bit two-toned, interesting. She is the first one to master going up and down the stairs, which does not surprise me. Carries herself very well.
Windsor#7 is over 15 lbs now, earning his place as "The Big Boy". He is a joy to watch as he gallops along. He has a beautiful masculine dark head and adorable face, he resembles his daddy. He has a mostly dark tail with white tip. He continues to be happy to be by himself or with his littermates.
Blaze#9 is over 13lbs now, she has continued to get darker and darker, her coloring is almost exactly like her mama RyLeigh. Her markings differ in her blaze, and she has more of the dark liver spots. She is very athletic and responsive to correction (a little uh-uh growl).
The puppies got their 2nd shots today. D2ALPP + Corona
This week they have mastered going up and down the steep basement steps.
Kenneled at night for the first time last night. They went from 9pm to 5:30am sleeping/resting the whole time and when I let them out of their pens they were quick to go outside to potty! Whew!
The pups are finding interesting things to chew on in our yard. It is time to worm them again.
They are a curious bunch, still run to their bed when I vaccuum and when I put a CD in they haven't heard before. But they creep out with their tails a waggin' pretty soon . They, however , have no fear of the broom and think I'm playing with them, making it impossible to sweep when they are around.
